Abstract： This paper focuses on summarizing the ancient records of the syndrome differentiation and treatment of presbycusis,and the experience of modern traditional Chinese medicine in treating presbycusis,mainly explaining the name origin,etiology and pathogenesis,etc.The kidney is opened in the ear,so the ancient doctors from the kidney dialectical treatment of presbycusis,there are also doctors to supplement its etiology can be qi stagnation and blood stasis,spleen lost transport.The most important principles for the treatment of presbycusis are tonifying the kidney and spleen,invig-orating qi and promoting blood circulation.The treatment method is mainly syndrome differentiation,which can be assis-ted by acupuncture,keep fit massage and other external treatments.
