Journal of International Oncology , former title: Foreign Medical Sciences Cancer Section is a medical journal, which is supervised by the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China and sponsored by Chinese Medical Association and Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences. It is one of the series of medical journals of Chinese Medical Association. The size is large 16-format, 48 pages. It was established in 1974, and the title changed from Foreign Medical Sciences Cancer Section to Journal of International Oncology in 2006. The columns of the journal include Reviews, Original Articles, Clinical Reports, Medical News in Brief, News on International Conference， Announcements, etc. It mainly targets clinical, teaching and scientific personnel in oncology and related fields. The tenet of this journal is to reflect great progresses of clinic, research, prevention and treatment of cancer, and promote the academic communication between home and abroad. This journal aims to publishing reviews, articles of research progress and original articles, clinical experience and case reports related closely with oncology which reflect the advanced information such as the latest trends, progresses and techniques. The contents of this journal cover the aspects of basic and clinical, theory and technique, and reflect the international level and develop trend of oncology subject. It was rewarded the first prize of Science & Technology of Shandong Province in 2005, Excellent Journal of Health and Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China in 2005, Excellent Academic Journal of the Comprehensive Evaluation of Publication Quality of Newspapers and Periodicals of Shandong Province in 2007, and the Certificate of Source Journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Paper and Citations in 2008.
